On November 16, 2018, Deborah Ausburn presented at The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) 2018 Annual Conference. Her session, "Mandated Reporting of Child Abuse: Who, What, When, Where, and Why" covered complex laws governing mandatory reporting of child abuse. Ausburn reported on Georgia’s, South Carolina’s, North Carolina’s and Florida’s mandated reporter laws.
