Earlier this month, Taylor Duma attorneys Steven Jones, Matthew McKagan and Casey Frew represented the Georgia Solar Energy Industries Association, Inc. (GASEIA) through the successful signing of an Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) Stipulation Agreement with the Georgia Power Company (GPC). Through GASEIA’s intervention of the 2025 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) proceeding, the association negotiated a resolution with GPC on three items while simultaneously discussing the future of Virtual Power Plants (VPP).
Georgia Solar Energy Industries Association, Inc., is a 501(c)(6) that advocates for solar developers specializing in distributed generation projects—i.e., 1 – 6 MW of standalone solar (with or without batteries) or behind-the-meter commercial solar.
